BOXER DIES AFTER COMA

(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) OAKLAND (California). Al Robinson, a boxer who won a silver medal in the 1968 Olympic Games, has died after being in a coma for nearly three years. Robinson, who was 26, died at Fairmont Hospital. He was from Phoenix. Arizona. He developed as a boxer while in the United States Navy, fought as a feather-' weight in the Olympics, and turned professional in 1969. He collapsed during a workout in Oakland on April 30, 1971. He underwent several brain operations but never came out of the coma.
