Man gives $100
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) AUCKLAND, Jan. 27. An Australian who has lived in New Zealand for 30 years has decided to give $lOO to aid victims of the. serious floods in many parts of Queensland. Mr Bill Lumley of Whangamata, foundation president of the world-wide “Rats of Tobruk” Association said that he felt he should do something concrete to help. “I hope my donation may stimulate other people to give a little help too,” he said. Mr Lumley, a retired Australia Commonwealth Service employee, says that he will send his gift to the Lord [ Mayor of Brisbane to be used [in helping those who need [financial assistance after the ! floods.
