More selling points

Because of the tremendous demand for Commonwealth Games tickets at present, the Games tickets committee has decided to set up more selling points. The chairman of the tickets committee (Mr J. E. Davies) said last evening that it was planned to permit advance bookings at each of the sports venues. The tickets sold in this way at each venue will be only for the sports at that venue.

He said that the move was aimed at taking some of the pressure off the N.A.C. booking office in Cathedral Square, which over the last few days had been selling in the vicinity of SlO.OOO worth of tickets a day.
