Games P.O. open today
The Commonwealth Games Post Office at Queen Elizabeth II Park will be opened by the chairman of the Games Organising Committee (Mr R. S. Scott) this morning.
Customers will be able to use the post office from today, and it will close immediately after the completion of the Games.
The Games publicity officer (Mr L. W. Patterson) said the post office was the key to the telegraphic service for the international press. He said the post office would use a special Games postmark.
