Switching station
■Sir. —I lake strong exception to Mr McGuigan's remarks that my letter of December 13. 1973, was politically biased. Being a resident of the locality concerned, I am naturally interested in this issue. In my letter I was merely seeking clarification of Mr McGuigan's statment in “The Press” of December 13, in which he indicated that an area in the vicinity of Leadleys Road would be pur-! chased by the Electricity De-: ipartment and used either for a “switching station,” “switching-in station.” or a “supply point.” Because he refused to confirm this in answer to "Power Crazy” (“The Press,” December 13), I forwarded my letter. Unlike Mr McGuigan, 1 am not politically biased, nor politically: motivated, merely politically: interested in issues affecting the locality in which I live. Would Mr McGuigan please, refrain from heaping scorn on those like myself who seek the truth, and answer my question?—Yours, etc., GOING CRAZY. December 24. 1973.
