(From Our Own Reporter) WESTPORT. Dec. 26. Many Buller farmers re-1-port a decrease of bovine! ’ tuberculosis among herds, 1( at- ■ tributing it mainly to the > I campaign by the Forest Serf vice against the opossum. . One prominent farmer close to Westport said that., ’ coincident with the elimina-i tion of the pests from bush 5 adjoining his paddocks, the [ last three tests had revealed herds clear of tuberculosis. 1 The department is not > slackening in its eradication ; work.
