Labour’s first year
Sir, — As a pensioner I would like to congratulate this Labour Government on its first year of office. Thanks very much for restoring Social Security income exemptions to their 1972 Budget levels, rates rebate, halving of telephone rentals and the Christmas bonus, just to mention a few.
