ROLLESTON ACCIDENT

Four persons injured Four persons were injured when the car in which they were travelling left the road and hit a pole about a mile south of Rolleston at 11.15 p.m. yesterday. Two were admitted to the resuscitation ward of Christchurch Hospital with various fractures, a third was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital with internal injuries, and the fourth to Burwood Hospital. Neither the names nor the conditions of the injured were available early this morning. The Christchurch Fire Brigade emergency tender was called to the. accident, as it was thought initially that persons were trapped inside the car, which had been travelling south on the main highway.
