A four-bedroom bungalow on a 57-perch section on residential B land at 29 Clyde Road, Fendalton, sold for $36,600 at public auction yesterday. The property, which has a Government valuation of $11,600, was auctioned by Mr R. D. Brown, of Livingstone’s. A two-bedroom house on a 24.8-perch section at 5 Sandringham Place, Bryndwr, was sold for $20,000 at public auction yesterday. The property, on the corner of Sandringham Place and Derwent Street, has a recent Government valuation of $19,000. The auctioneer was Mr E. G. iKeenan, of Binns, Barber and Keenan, Ltd. A three-bedroom house on a 40.6 perch section at 111 St James Avenue, Papanui, sold for $17,600 when auctioned by Mr D. O. Chapman, of Ford and Hadfield, Ltd, yesterday. It has a Government valuation of $5400. A two-storey weatherboard [building, containing four seifi contained flats, on a 41.6I perch section at 3 Browns [Road, St Albans, was passed [in at $41,000 at public auc[tion yesterday. The property has a frontage on St Albans Street as well as Browns Road, and has a Government valuation of $20,750. Bidding began at $30,000. The auctioneer was Mr A. E. Barrell, of A. E. Barrell and Company.
