Television explosion

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, November 12. A television set exploded in the living room of a house at Andersons Bay tonight. Mr David Gadd was working in his garden at 11 Woodside Terrace when he heard an explosion from inside the house. He rushed in to find the living room filled with black smoke and the television set blazing in the comer. He called the fire brigade from a neighbour’s house, and firemen dragged the charred remains of the set toutside. The explosion broke a window and scorched flooring
