Challengers
The first two challenges to Marlborough were made yesterday by South Canterbury and Otago, according to Press Association reports. Otago has asked for September 8, the date it was originally to have challenged Canterbury, and South Canterbury has listed three definite dates—September 8, 22 and 29—and a provisional one—September 1.
