Mvstic Dancer and the two-year-old filly, Champagne Lady, were responsible for the best times in training at Wanganui ■ yesterday when preparaing for (the Manawatu fixture tomorrow. Trials took place against the inside rail on the No. 1 grass, 1 which provided easy going. Mystic Dancer was running on well at the finish of a solo half mile in 52 2/5, the last three furlongs taking 37 2/5. Champagne Lady and Gold Court went fast and finished full of running at the end of a half mile in 49 1/5. the last three furlongs in 37 2/5. Starlight Night, which has been running improver’s races, took 39sec for a solo thre furlongs.
