One point behind
The former Christchurch United striker, G. Dacombe, has quickly made his presence felt In the Rangers Southern League championship side. Dacombe scored twice when Rangers beat Woolston W.M.C., 3-1 on Saturday and moved to a Boi'nt behind the leading side, 'unedin North End. Woolston was a match for Rangers in the first half, equalising shortly after Rangers had taken the lead and looking a distinct threat to its opponent’s unbeaten record. However, it was a different storv after the interval when Woolston tired and Rangers got right on the top. It was the only championship match played at the week-end. Goals
