No dispute solution

N.Z. Press Association

WELLINGTON, April 2

Two hours of talks today failed to resolve the dispute involving airport crash firemen.

Representatives of the Public Service Association today had talks with the Minister in Charge of State Services (Mr Tizard) on the dispute and have agreed to meet him again tomorrow. The crash firemen have threatened to work only from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Wednesday unless the Government agrees to relate their wages to those paid to fire brigade station officers.
