PYRAMID SELLING
Ban to be sought (N.Z. Press Association» WELLINGTON. Legislation to ban pyramid selling is being urged by the Attorney-General (Dr Finlay). He said this at the week-end after returning from a conference with Australian state Attorneys-General. There was a strong feeling at the conference against the pyramid selling system. Some Australian states were banning it and others would probably do so. Dr Finlay said New Zealand would study legislation being prepared in Queensland. He would recommend similar legislation to make pyramid selling illegal in New Zealand.
