Selby profit up; bonus
The unaudited net profit of the Selby Shoe Company, Ltd, rose by about $12,700 or 26 per cent to about $62,000, in the year to January 31, the directors say In a preliminary report. A final dividend of 7 per cent from tax-free reserves is proposed, making an unchanged 12 per cent for the year. The directors propose a one-for-four bonus issue. Shares will be ex dividend on May 5 and ex bonus on June 1.
