Softballers unbeaten
CN.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright.) SYDNEY. The New Zealand women’s softball team maintained its unbeaten record in Australia with a 4-3 win over New South Wales in a lively match at Oriole Park, Auburn. The New Zealanders arrived from Brisbane where they won four successive games, including the first test against Australia. New Zealand led 3-0. with runs by J. Foote and P. Farrow in the second, and N. Clyma in the third. New South Wales rallied to be 3-3 after six, but Clyma won the match in the last innings with her second run.
