The New Zealanders arrived from Brisbane where they won four successive games, including the first test against Australia. New Zealand led 3-0. with runs by J. Foote and P. Farrow in the second, and N. Clyma in the third. New South Wales rallied to be 3-3 after six, but Clyma won the match in the last innings with her second run.
