This 115 year-old Maori woman. Mrs Taurima Terewaamu, of Penrose, Auckland, has just finished sitting for a portrait by the Auckland artist. Harry Sangl. Mrs Terewaamu, who is almost deaf and blind, can speak very little English. Her moko was chiselled by her uncle, a tattooist. about 90 years ago.
