GROWTH IN BOOKINGS
Advance bookings for the Town Hall are beginning to build up. after a “very light” period during December and [Jauary, the.manager (Mr B. P. Connell) said yesterday. In a report to the board of management, Mr Connell said that 49 bookings had been; made during February for the; complex and 103 so far for; March. Tentative bookings! for April totalled 74. “It is estimated that more than 130,000 people have already attended functions at! the Town Hall. Assuming a| 60 per cent attendance on the bookings outlined, this patironage will have doubled by the end of April,” Mr Connell said. I .
