EXCHANGE RATES
Dollar still firming Sterling lost ground against the New Zealand dollar since Thursday, ali though the quotation band lis narrowing.
The Japanese yen strengthened considerably, and is now selling at an effective revaluation in terms of the New Zealand dollar of 3.1 per cent.
With the exception of Swiss francs the New Zealand dollar continued to gain slightly against all currencies.
Quotations for a number of currencies are not yet available.
