I Mujibur Rahman, who was the Minister of Information in the East Pakistan Administration. has been imprisoned for life on a charge of waging war against the Bangladesh Government. He was sentenced by the special tribunal appointed in Dacca to try former members of the East Pakistan Government after the Indo-Pakistan war of last December had led to the creation of Bangladesh. Rahman is the fourth ’former Minister to be convicted by the tribunal; six others are awaiting trial.
