Mrs Maria Helen Palmer, aged 29, of Taumarunui.

Mrs Palmer was admitted to hospital after the fire on November 11 in which she suffered burns before being rescued from the house by her husband, John Palmer. Four children were saved at the time, but eight-year-old Sharlene was killed.
