Another seeded player made an early exit when the Frenchman, P. Dominquez beat the young Sydney professional, J. Alexander, in the Australian Open tennis championships yesterday. Dominquez won 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 11-9. Alexander’s defeat followed the upset elimination of other leading Australians. K. R. Rosewall. M. A. Anderson, and C. Dibley the previous day. Another top ranked player fell when the New Zealander O. Parun, beat the fifthseeded Queenslander. G. Masters, 7-6. 3-6, 6-3, 7-5.
