Series on Rugby

The Harlech Television series “Skilful Rugby,” shown earlier this year in Britain, will be seen by people in Japan, Formosa, South Africa and the United States within the next 12 months, - says “Television Today.” The series uses the new techniques have revolutionised Rugby in the last 10 years, to show how a scientific approach can enormously improve the game. It will be shown to clubs and private audiences in each country. A Welsh Rugby Union coach-organiser, Ray Williams, says: “The fact that the Japanese are hiring the series illustrates their attention to detail. The Japan Rugby team will do a Welsh tour next year, and no doubt they want to study our methods.”
