Sidney James
Sidney James appears again, in a new situation comedy series in which he plays Sid Abbott — Mr Average Married Man, He comes complete with an average family: a 19-year-old son whose sole aim in life is to demonstrate (especially outside No. 10), and a 16-year-old daughter who is the apple of her father’s eye. Sid’s main interests in life, are the three C’st Chelsea' soccer team, Courages bitter, and Crumpet (which needs no explanation!). As far as Sid and his children are con-i cerned, there exists not sol much a generation gap, as a grand canyon of misunder-i standing and utter bewilderment. Aiding Sid as he struggles through family life is Diana Coupland as his level-headed wife, while Robin Stewart plays the part of Mike the son, and Sally Geeson (sister: of well-known actress Judy! Geeson) takes the part of the, daughter, Sally. "Bless This House,” a Thames Television production screens from CHTV3 on Monday.
