“AN AWFUL SILENCE” After the write-up on “The Awful Silence,” this family looked forward to the screening with pleasure. The excellent acting and photography and the quality of the production gave us pride as well as pleasure. But the content of the play was utter drivel and unworthy of a place even in a child's comic. If that play was a prize-winner, it could only have been because it was the sole entry. — MIRANDA.
