Reception to Prime Minister

Sir,—May I say how delighted many people must be that a wrong has been righted and all the Councillors in the City Council have now been invited to attend the mayoral reception to the Prime Minister. Mr Kirk is the representative of all the people of this country, not merely of the Labour party. Because he is a Christchurch

man, surely everyone in the City is entitled to express their congratulations and good, wishes, and this they do through their elected representatives on the City Council.—Yours, etc., FRANCES MILLER. December 8, 1972.
