Singapore hotel fire
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) SINGAPORE, Dec. 5. A fire Sent hundreds of people, some in bathing suits, fleeing in fear today from one on Singapore’s largest hotels, the Ming Court. The blaze was confined to offices on the fourth floor, directly beneath the swimming pol, and there were no casualties. Late this afternoon, firemen in “cherry pickers” high above the roadway were still pouring water into the smouldering offices of the luxury, multi-storey hotel, which was opened two years ago.
