Voters to decide Games site issue

Voters in Colorado will make a decision today which might lead to the 1976 Winter Olympic Games being moved out of the state—and possibly out of the United States. Apart from voting for their Presidential choice, congressmen and other candidates, the voters will be asked whether they want any of their state tax money to be spent on the Gaines. According to public opinion polls, the vote will be a close one. Opponents of the Games

being held In Colorado claim that state taxes should not be used for local businessmen who, they maintain, would be the only people to benefit. They also say that the Games would step up local prices and create environmental problems.
