FILM CUTS UPHELD

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 7. The approval of the film, “I Am Curious Yellow,” for exhibition by, or on behalf of, approved film societies subject to certain cuts by the Film Censor (Mr D. C. McIntosh) has been upheld by the Cinematography Films Censorship Board of Appeal in a majority decision. The Federation of Film Societies appealed against the censor’s ruling, and sought to have the film passed for exhibition to film societies without cuts.
