‘THRILLS’ IN MODELS

f.V Z. Press Assn— Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 25. Several members of the Waltham Forest Council, in suburban London, are up in arms over a proposed pav rise for the council’s nude models. The models, at a council art schooL are due for a 22 per cent pay increase which would take their earnings up to 51.25 an hour. However, one councillor contends that most of the students are at the school only for titillation. “Why should the ratepayer have to fork out even more to give these so-called students a bit of a thrill?” said the councillor, Mr Charles Paley-Phillips, a Conservative.
