Horses for Riccarton
“The Press’* Special Service x. WELLINGTON. Otaki s four Grand National meeting runners will fly south on Thursday. B. A. V. Preston will be represented by two •L um R ers ’ Le Chapeau for the hurdle events and Gun in the steeplechases. K. Thompson will take Cantostan and the impressive, but lightly raced hack Bally Lucky. Bally Lucky, which has had only one start for an impressive win, races at Levin tomorrow’. Two of B. Deacon’s team will accompany the four Otaki horses. The Grand National Hurdles runner, Tsargo, is one of Deacon’s entrants. G. Ivil. a regular supporter of the Canterbury Jockev Club, will fly his team of four south next Monday. Ivil will race Quondo. Ayub Khan, Bright Girl and Ragham at Riccarton. All four, according to their trainer, have done well since last racing.
