The successful applicant for the first position, which will shortly become vacant, would have either the Diploma of the New Zealand Library School or the New Zealand Library Association Certificate and would undertake general cataloguing duties. These positions would be particularly suitable for commerce graduates who wish to continue their studies to a higher level. DIRECTOR OF THE VETERINARY SCIENCE FARM, MOGGILL Applicants should be graduates in Veterinary Science of not less than five years standing with extensive practical and management experience preferably with knowledge of animal production in the sub-tropics or tropics. The Director will be responsible for the day to day operation of the veterinary science farm at Moggill under the general direction of the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science who is advised by a Farm Development Committee elected by the Faculty. In addition he might be required to assist to a limited extent with lectures and demonstrations in animal management and production. The farm presently includes herds of beef and dairy cattle, some horses, a modern piggery, a small dairy, and small numbers of other species of commercially important animals. It is expected that the Director will live at the Moggill Farm where accommodation at a reasonable rental will be provided. (August 31.) GENERAL CONDITIONS Salary: Director, Senior Lecturer, $9644-$U,234 per annum. Lecturer: $6BOl-$9390 per annum.
