SALE OF SEASONED POST AND I POLE MATERIAL HANMER FOREST WRITTEN tenders closing with : the Conservator of Forests, P.O. Box 513, Christchurch, at 1 p.m. on July 31, 1972, are invited for ■ the purchase of seasoned and : partly seasoned post, pole and rail material. All material has been debarked and some material pointed. Material has been produced from Pinus nigra, Pinus austriaca and Pinus ponderosa. Total sale quantity is approximately 29,965 pieces or units. Schedules showing number of each class of material are available from the Conservator of Forests, Christchurch, or the Wood Preservation Officer. Hanmer Springs. Price is to be in cents and tenths of a cent per piece or unit, and the price is to be the same for each unit in the total sale quantity, irrespective of size and class. The upset price per unit is available on request from the Conservator of Forests, Christchurch, or the Wood Preservation Officer. N.Z. Forest Service, Hanmer Springs. The sale will be made as is, where is, and no sale will be made of any part or portion, other than the total sale quantity. The term of sale will be six months from date of acceptance of tender, and material may be left on Forest Service site to be drawn for treatment as required, but all materia] is to be uplifted and removed by the end of the sale period.
