S.C. National Dancing Assn competitions end
("From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU. Most points for the series of one-day competitions in national dancing organised by the South Canterbury Centre of the Piping and Dancing Association recently were scored by Miss Glenda Hampton, of Ashburton. Entries in the last of the series totalled 200. The judge was Mrs Barbara Saville (Christchurch), and pipe music was supplied byMessrs D. M. Maclntyre and J. L. McKinnon. Results, competitors being from Timaru unless shown to the contrary, were as follows:— Highland fling.—Novice under 14: Alison Meredith 1.
