Benefit shows j at hotels Ballins Breweries, in co-| operation with Christchurch J Jaycees and Circuit Inter- 1 national Promotions, are | producing 57 shows overl the next ten weeks, the first | of these starting on July 171 at the Blenheim Road Motor Inn. Amongst the well-knowm artists who will be appearing are. Yolande Gibson, Chic Littlewood, and the Auckland group. The Rumour. All the artists that are scheduled for this entertainment venture will be backed by two of Christchurch’s top hotel bands, Chapta and Jonathan J, and the Fifth Edition. To see these artists there will be a charge of 50c at the door. Compering the shows will be the wellknown local personality, Trevor Spitz. Proceeds will go to the Commonwealth Games fund.
