Kotahi Ran sold

“The Press” Special Service HAMILTON.

The two-year-old, Kotahi Ran, which won once and was three times placed in five starts earlier in the season, has been sold by Messrs E. A. J. Bushell and C. G. Goosman, of Hamilton, to an Australian owner, Mr W. J. Hackett.

A splendidly proportioned colt, Kotahi Rau has developed during his spell and he could prove a top class three-year-old in Sydney.

His win for which he was prepared by L. L. Collett, of Te Awamutu, was in the first division of the Juvenile Handicap at the Franklin fixture at Ellerslie on December 4

Mr Hackett has also purchased the Te Rapa stablemates, Red Haste and Aim High, which were members of A. McGregor’s team.
