The light-weight jockey. D. J. Silcock. has moved from Rotorua to Te Rapa, where he is now associated with W. C. Winder’s stable.
Silcock has ridden 27 winners during his fairly brief career. Three of them were in notable events He has won the Avondale Stakes on 80-Allen, the Pohlen Cup on Bevlyn. and the Ladies' Mile at Ellerslie on Safe,
