French arms sales

The Israeli Minister of Defence (General Moshe Dayan) said in Tel Aviv yesterday that France continued to supply arms and military equipment to Egypt and other Arab countries through Libya. Answering questions put to him by a group of Canadian members of the United Jewish Appeal, General Dayan said the payments were being made to France by Libya. France still did not provide Israel with any military equipment, he added. — Tel Aviv, July 9.
