Lincoln’s Inn in favour

(N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY. The top-weight with 8-13 in the Coral Sea Handicap at Rosehill today is the former New Zealander Lincoln’s Inn. Lincoln’s Inn (Test Case—Hush Money) won four races in New Zealand, Including a hack event at Trentham, before coming to Australia, where an ambitious programme was mapped out for him last year.

He started in the A.J.C. Metropolitan Handicap, the Caulfield Cup, the Moonee Valley Cup and the Melbourne Cup. His best effort was a third behind Oncidon and Tails in the Metropolitan. He has had three starts this year without success, but is Improving with each outing and bookmakers are keeping him safe on the second line of betting at 4/1 for today’s event.
