Tupamaros arrested

(N Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) ■ MONTEVIDEO, April 28. At least four Tupamaros Left-wing urban guerrillas were arrested in a vast search conducted by the Armed Forces in the interior of Uruquay, informed sources said. Yesterday’s arrests came after President Juan Bordaberry declared a 30-day “state of internal war” against the Tupamaros earlier this month. The Armed Forces yesterday identified a dead Tupamaro and several who were arrested in recent operations and said they had found a guerrilla hideout containing arms and 1000 aerial photographs mapping two departments of central-eastern Uruguay.
