President Nixon has signed legislation authorising the provision of about SNZ3O.2m for Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty for the financial year ending on June 30 said a spokesman for the White House. The United States stations broadcast from West Germany to Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union. The authorisation permits the immediate use of about SNZ26.Bm appropriated by Congress last December, but unavailable until the new legislation was signed.
