JOCKEY KICKED
(N.Z. Press Association) HAWERA. The Jockey, J. walker, was admitted to hospital for observation after he"was kicked in the chest before the start of the Tasman Maiden at the Opunake Racing Club’s meeting at Hawera yesterday. He was found to be. suffering from shock and bruising Ab his right side. Garden Gate not to start “The Press” Special Service DUNEDIN. The Mosgiel Park trainer, G. B. Thomson, said yesterday that Garden Gate would miss the Oxford Hack Handicap at Rangiora on Monday and would be treated to a spell.
