Unemployed teachers
A meeting of unemployed secondary-school teachers will be held in Christchurch this evening with a view to setting up an action committee to assist their employment. Mrs K. Lally, a spokesman for the group, which mostly consists of out-of-work history and English teachers, said that there were many conflicting reports on what could be done to find a solution.
A special branch of the Post Primary Teachers’ As- «■ iation might be formed, Mrs Lally.
