HAMILTON, February 22. The National Roads Board plans to open up the Coromandel Peninsula in much the same way as the Haast area in the South Island was redeveloped. Members, of the board, led bv the chairman (the Minister of Works, Mr Allen) will visit the area this week to investigate possible routes for a tourist highway right around the peninsula. They will fiy over the more inaccessible parts of the country-
