Clubs have new names

The Rothmans National Soccer League in the coming season will now have two old clubs playing under new names.

In addition to Dunedin Suburbs, playing as Caver, sham, Mount Albert-Pon-sonby will be known as Auckland City. A third club, Eden, has joined the amalgamation, and the new grouping and new name were approved by the I Auckland Football Association last week. 1
