WOMAN HURT

Head, arm, leg and foot injuries were suffered by Muriel Copestake, of 2 Marlborough Street, Linwood, when a power-cycle and a car collided at the intersection of Gloucester Street and Fitzgerald Avenue, about 11.30 a.m. yesterday.

Mrs Copestake was admitted to the resuscitation ward at Christchurch Hospital where her condition last evening was reported fair.
