TIMETABLE PROPOSED
While favouring the provisional area scheme for North Canterbury brought down by the Local Government Commission, the Christchurch Drainage Board last evening said that a timetable should be proposed to the commission.
“Otherwise, uncertainty will render forward planning by the presently-constituted local authorities impossible and local body works will stagnate to the disadvantage of all,” the board said.
