LABOUR M.P. AVAILABLE

(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, Feb. 21. The member of Parliament fo. Westland (Mr P. Blanchfield) announced yesterday that he would be available to accept nomination for another three-year term of office, for the new electorate of West Coast. Mr Blanchfield said that he had an X-ray examination of his chest and a blood test last month and received the “all-clear signal.” Mr Blanchfield underwent surgery early in his term as a member, but said yesterday that, since September, 1966, he had not had to ask for so much as an hour of leave from the House because of illness.
