(A’ Z. Press Associations HAMILTON. The secretary of the New Zealand Women’s Bowling Association (Mrs S. J. Osborne) Manawatu won the national women’s championship in a close final in Hamilton beat Mrs V. Devlin 16-14. In the semi-final Mrs Osborne, beat Mrs J. Lash (Auckland), and Mrs Devlin beat the national fours winner, Mrs T. Brainbridge (Rooky Nook).
